WHAT IT TAKES
As we are all excited for the season, it's important to remember
the significant work required by volunteers before trails can be
made available for permit buyers to enjoy.
More than meets the eye
With a trail network of our size, you can be sure that the work is year-round and involves much more than meets the eye and is continually a work in progress. Here's a glimpse of many things you don't see when out enjoying nature's white ribbon with friends and family.
OK From Property Owners
WHAT IT TAKES To Make Trails Ready To Ride...
During the fall, volunteers are busy working to secure permission from landowners for the upcoming season. To achieve this, in 2024, all permissions are now captured and recorded digitally.
With a network the size of ours, you can be sure that volunteers are hard at work and as you can see today on the ITG, this is still very much a work in progress. Clubs will spend the rest of the fall and early winter finalizing their network alongside the countless gracious landowners in our communities.
OK From Corporate & Municipal Landowners
WHAT IT TAKES To Make Trails Ready To Ride...
Each fall, volunteers work hard to secure permissions from corporate landowners - many of which require detailed legal review and complex agreements.
With our transition to digitally recorded permissions in 2024, every signed agreement is now recorded online. With a trail network this large, it’s a big job - and as you’ll see on the ITG when it first launches, it’s still in progress.
Clubs continue finalizing trails through the fall and early winter, with huge thanks to the landowners who make our trails possible.
