We hope you’re doing well and making the most of spring. Currently, we know that the State of Emergency in Ontario has been extended to the end of June, however, as the re-opening of the economy is well underway, we remain optimistic and continue to monitor the latest developments as part of our planning process.
Over the next few months, we will continue to keep our lines of communication open as we move ahead with planning for the 2021 Ontario Snowmobiling Season. As with all organizations, we are looking forward to an epic winter season but recognize that it may look different than what we are used to.
As we work towards the first snow fall, and providing a safe riding experience, we commit to:
Keep Volunteers In Mind!
Keep Landowners in Mind!
Keep Riders In Mind!
Keep Partners In Mind!
Right now, our team is watching and engaging with other recreational industries and jurisdictions very carefully. We’re doing our homework to gather best practices and information to share with you as it pertains to the season ahead. We will all have new operating procedures and safety measures as we work to implement regulatory changes imposed on the industries in which we work and the public at large.
We know you have questions and ideas and we want to hear from you. In our efforts to keep the dialogue open, we ask that any questions or ideas be sent via email to [email protected].
As we prepare for a new, different season, one thing is certain – Ontario Snowmobilers are outstanding, community minded people and we will do everything we can to deliver the best season possible!
Stay safe & healthy friends!
